Giulio Rosso Chioso - BIO & CONTACT

Born in the hills of Monferrato, I grew up on Krumiri biscuits, skiing, and Star Wars.

I spent most of my youth in Valle d'Aosta, sorrounded by snow, competitive skiiing and Fontina cheese. It was there that my passion for sports and nature photography was born, alongside a growing love for cinema-thanks to my father, an avid film lover.

Later on I moved to Milan to pursue a Master’s in Photography at Mohole Lab. After working as a sports photographer for a few years, my deep love for cinema led me to graduate in Media Design and Multimedia Arts at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), where I discovered my passion for Color Grading and the craft of a Digital Colorist.

I trained through various professional courses and worked as an assistant to a senior Colorist in Milan before taking the leap into freelancing.

Since 2018, I have been working as a freelance DI Colorist. Based in Milan, I have my own Color Grading Room and I am available worldwide, remotely.

Yes, photography is still my Dark Side of the Force.
